Application Vehicles
     These instructions apply to these vehicles, which all have similar wiper systems:

DODGE-TRUCK CARAVAN, GRAND CARAVAN 84 - 91
CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY 82 - 91
PLYMOUTH VOYAGER, GRAND VOYAGER 84 - 91

Wiring Diagrams and Drawings:

1989 Dodge Caravan- Drawing applies to all application vehicles listed above. Print this.
RT-50A - HSS (Hot Side Switching)- Included with product, so print only if needed.
Troubleshooting procedure- Print out if needed.

Wire colors used in this vehicle:

+12V - DK-BLU
GROUND - CHASSIS
FAST - RED/YEL
SLOW - BRN

Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:

Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the HSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker.  Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires. Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors.
Factory drawings can be wrong, so, confirm wire colors with a multimeter.

All wiper system wires are available at the wiper switch.  They can usually be accessed
by removing one or two access panels (Kick Panels) and, possibly, the shrouds surrounding the
steering column.

NOTE: Some vans may have FAST - RED

Pick the SLOW wire up on the motor side of the Intermittent Wiper Control Unit, or
at the motor. Make sure you have the correct BRN wire. Notice the switch has
2 BRN wires
