This graph shows the return-echos strength VS distance for the sensor in LIN-transducer mode. The dark blue line is the return-echo sensed by the sensor, and the green line is the “floor” the sensor has learned. The red line shows the echo with the floor taken off. This learning feature makes the Hydreon ultrasonic sensor suitable for environments with background clutter or restricted maximum sensing distance.
